I love a good knife and was very impressed with Adamas! The quality of workmanship and materials used is superb and it is easy to see why this knife gets such great reviews. Part of the reason I purchased this knife is for the great sheath. It is everything I had hoped for. But... The attachment to a belt leaves much to be desired! I was, and still am, very disappointed with the matching of the sheath to the Tek-Lok that come with the knife/sheath. The only attachment points are along one edge and the Tek-Lok will NOT securely attach to the sheath. If wearing on a belt, which is my intended manner of carry, it is possible for the knife handle to get caught on something and snap the flimsily attachment between the sheath and the Tek-Lok. I just ordered a sheet of 1/8" thick ABS plastic that I will end up cutting and making a secure interface between the sheath and the Tek-Lock. Normally, I would have immediately returned the order after seeing something like this, but I was very impressed with the knife and sheath, and will go the extra mile to make it work for me. I guess that should tell you something about the quality I see in the knife and sheath! I am still disappointed in Beachmade for this obviously issue and their lack of response. If you can make it work for you, then ... Read More...
