I can not believe how high quality this carrier is for the price. As a former U.S. Army Airborne Infantryman and a private military contractor with years of combat deployments I have worn everything from the junk the military issues to 4 thousand dollar carriers only operators have access to. I grabbed this carrier up as a back up for a spare set of plates I had lying around and I could not believe the quality for the price. This carrier is better than many that are sold in the 300-600 dollar range. Most carriers in that price range do not adjust properly anyway. The plates in them sit way to low and leave you upper vitals exposed. The shoulder straps in the banshee adjust to raise the plates. The adjustment bands stow away neatly for a streamlined, professional look. The plates fit extremely snug and do not have any room to wiggle inside of the carrier so you don't have to worry about them sliding around. The pictures do not show it but there is a sturdy drag handle on the back. This is a MUST for combat applications. There are two minor cons for the banshee plate carrier. The first one is that the front flap of the carrier that folds down to seal the carrier in place extends down and back around the bottom of the plate. Although there is a small strap sewn to the flap that hangs down a couple inches below the carrier to help you grab the flap it is kind of awkward to don or remove the carrier at that point. For the price it is by no means a deal breaker, especia... Read More...

For the money this is a really good plate carrier. It was a little shorter than I imagined. I had planned on putting stuff on my left and right sides on the cumberbund, but the cumberbund sits just under my armpits. This is way too high to put anything with too large a profile under there, in my opinion. However, if you have a pistol or something on a regular belt, it rides high enough that it does not interfere with that at ALL. Thats kind of cool. There isn't a TON of real estate, but it'll get the job done. I am 5' 8" 160 pounds with a 30" waist. If I'm wearing a t-shirt it ALMOST will not fit snugly, but does. If you're any smaller than me you'll have to wear something bulkier than a t-shirt I suppose. There is room on the front for 3 rifle mag pouches. I like all the velcro on the front and back for morale patches or whatever. The only complaint I have is alot of these you order through Optics Planet (who have great customer service!) ship directly from Tactical Assault Gear. TAG makes good stuff, but they do NOT know what they have in stock, when new shipments will come in, when your order ships out, anything. They don't do tracking information. TAG customer services totally blows. I ordered a different plate carrier and over the course of 2 months was given 5 different ship dates before I told them to cancel the order and give me my money back, I'll go somewhere else. Anyway, this is a sweet low profile little rig, and its perfect for someone who wants to ... Read More...

Real neat Plate carrier. Covers Vital parts of the body and best part of vest is it's low profile. Fully adjustable to almost any size especially my 5'8" 190 ibs fat @$$ XD Pros: Low profile, Put almost anything you want on it Cons: None

Bought this carrier as I was looking to run a minimalist armor setup due to my job. Covering the vitals, keeping the weight down and being able to carry everything I need up high were the requirements I had and this carrier meets and exceeds them. Plenty of room to mount all my gear, fits nice and snug, and allows plenty of movement. Overall I highly recommend this carrier to anyone looking for a high quality plate carrier for a great price. Pros: Excellent build quality, holds plates very well, low profile Cons: Split shoulder pads are not the most comfortable thing in the world, should come with a way to immobilize the cummerbund, almost always backordered

Was worried the banshee would not fit properly. I'm 5'7 and 140lbs, And it fits perfect. Could still go smaller if needed. Coworker is 6ft 180lbs and fit him comfortable. Pros: Light, compact, high quality Cons: None so far

I've ran this plate carrier in a few carbine classes and and it has held up perfect with no issues. Although the price is almost half of most name brand plate carriers, I have not yet had any doubt the TAG banshee is made as well as the higher end stuff. Pros: Made in the USA, Comfy, Light, rugged. Cons: None

I am a Law Enforcement Officer and purchased this carrier in case of an Active Shooter. Carrier is great quality, but is on the small side. I'm 6'2", 220 lbs. It fits my ESAPI plates just fine, and will cover my vitals so that's the most important thing.

Excellent piece of kit for the money. Very adjustable and easy to snug up for a tight ride. Good plate retention with molle on on sides to mount pig plate carrier side plates. Great fit and finish. Hard to beat pricing. Pros: Value Price Cons: None

Excellent plate carrier for the money. Quite comfortable even with hard armor and plenty of webbing with which to attach MOLLE pouches. Only down side is that I think it should could come with shoulder pads and something in the kangaroo pouch. Though you can order those things pretty easy. Overall excellent either way.

Great carrier! Major selling points for me were: price, features, and mobility. My only complaint is the plates are held in by velcro alone. Price: You will not find a better quality carrier for a lower price. Period. Features: Padded shoulders! This is a must for any carrier that you are actually going to use. Use Cummerbund or buckles. You get to choose if you want a faster deployment or more MOLLE real estate. Plenty of space to put whatever patches you may want. Also has a drag handle which is nice. Mobility: Like most low profile carriers this offers excellent mobility. Plates: I am running medium plates with this carrier. The plates are held nice and high so all of your vitals are well covered. The back plate pocket can hold square plates (without clipped corners). Once again my only complaint with this carrier is the plates are held in by velcro only. The velcro is sturdy, but I am still not comfortable with this being the only thing holding the plates. I would recommend this to anyone who requires a solid carrier, but is on a tight budget. Pros: Great Price, Lots of Features, Well Built Cons: Plates are held in by velcro only

Wanted to issue new plate carriers for our teams, and this was affordable and reliable one. According to our guys, they have no objection for this one. Pros: Simple as it can be. Cons: Front panels are small, so TAG Kangaroo pouch does not fit unless one of the pouches is cut off.

TAG's Banshee PC is an amazing product hands down. The build quality is top of the line and it's made in the USA! The tough 1000 cordura will withstand any beating you take up to it. The Banshee sits nice and high and give you plenty of room to run a battle belt. There is so much mobility, no obstacle will get in your way. Plenty of molle on the front, back, and sides. Hook and loop on the front and back gives you plenty of space for your patches. The hook and loop kangaroo pouch is a plus to store extra mags, your maps, etc. Overall TAG's Banshee PC is a great product and I highly recommend it! Pros: Everything! Cons: Nothing!

Haven't tried it w/ plates but I wore it with 3 mags, a hydration carrier in the back, utility pouch on the left and a dump pouch on that. Light enough for hiking through mountains. I love the multicam on it too bad the webbing isn't. Pros: Rugged, Compact, Great Price Cons: if 6'2" and up it looks like a bib

Excellent carrier for the price. Only thing negative to say is that is should come with the optional shoulder pads and something to put in the pouch section. Pros: Excellent quality and value for price Cons: very basic, no extras

Outstanding plate carrier, padding seals the deal here. Not restrictive at all, as far as movement. Low profile design works perfectly with duty uniform and duty belt with no interference with accessing equipment from duty belt. At minium without cummerbund, perfect for active shooter. But gives you the option to armor up all the way to 6x6 side plates for warrant pickups. Been showing it to officers from mine and other agencies, with positive feedback all around Pros: flexibility, size, overall quality and construction, comfort Cons: large sapi plates hangs out about 1 inch

I was looking at purchasing the Mayflower APC and found this one being discussed on a online forum. After doing some research, the TAG Banshee was the best option because it had similar features and cost half the price. Pros: Compact/Well Built/Made in USA Cons: N/A

This has been in my front seat and back seat and has even been tossed around a little but still no damages seen. I like how you have the option for running the quick clips or the cumber bun. The admin pouch is a good spot for storage but its got a good bit of strong velcro you have to muscle through. Great quality and the price wasn't bad.

Carrier was awesome! Took a month to receive it though :/ apparently there is a looong delay because they have to ship from lc industries directly. Still it is a sweet carrier that is super comfortable and easy to wear. Pros: solid, streamline, plenty of space, fits perfect Cons: shipping time is a month

It is durable and solid. High quality construction. Downsides are that the webbing isn't camo and the shoulder buckles are hard to get in and out of the sheath around them, and the buckles are bulky and come close to interfering with shouldering a rifle, but don't quite get in the way... still would feel better if they were places elsewhere. Pros: solid, durable Cons: shoulder buckle placement, webbing not camo

Best carrier I have ever used. I'm 6'3" and a bit on the skinny side and feel this carrier fits my frame perfectly. I do know it looks really small on larger frame guys but have never heard any complaints from them. This carrier works best with a RACK/Rhodesian vest/LBV ect...for extended operations or as an active shooter response with a few mags attached directly to the carrier with a C-A-T tourniquet/med pouch. The only complaint I would say is not having the Banshee Shoulder Pads already standard or at least have the option to bundle with purchase. All in all, you won't regret this one!

Well I'll start by saying this is a budget carrier. It's a lot better quality than condor or voodoo pc. It's a sturdy pc and workmanship is pretty good. I don't like the fact that it doesn't have side pockets on the Cumberbun. I don't like that it doesn't have a velcro adjuster inside the plate compartment. You can find these for around $125 and with the various discounts optics planet runs you could get it close to that price. But I would go for a nicer plate carrier if I was going to be wearing this on a daily basis. But all in all its a good value for your average Joe.

Was out of stock here on OP but it was drop-shipped and arrive same day as other stuff I ordered on OP. Excellent quality. Only takes Medium Plates (not a con if you wear mediums like most people). The carrier sits up real high so it won't interfere with a battle belt or other first line gear. The carrier is super slim. I usually don't like carriers with the front flap but they really did it right with this one. The only thing I don't like is (only if you are wearing real ceramic plates) that the rear plate seems to kind of jab me in the kidneys every time I come down on my stride while running. I have only had for about a week and might be able to adjust this to work better. Otherwise I am going to need to wrap the rear plate in some kind of pad or something. It also fits the plate perfectly in the front and rear. No need to adjust some suspension system or anything as it seems to be made to really just accept Mediums SAPIs. Pros: Very low profile, slim, durable, does not interfere with first line gear. Cons: read comments for cons

This is by far one of the best tactical vests I have every bought. The Banshee is a solid vest that is of great quality. You have plenty of rooms to attach your mag pouches and other items. The shoulder straps are not that great, so I would go ahead and buy the shoulder pads for around $20. They are rather big, but add the extra comfort you may want. The vest sits up high. At first, this was weird for me since all my other vests are a longer. However, I have come to love this design since it allows great maneuverability. I would recommend this vest to anyone who wants a quality tactical vest. Pros: Good quality, solid fit, lots of molle, great maneuverability Cons: shoulders straps not too comfortable

This is the best plate carrier on the market at this price, period. Its made in the USA, which is even better! The quality is superb and the versatility is second to none. Adjusts easily and allows for a varying degree of girth, depending on the size of the wearer. The cummerbund makes this product 100% stable, no matter the load size.
