Tactical Assault Gear Mountain Ruck LG MOLLE Pack is a redesigned version of the old issued mountain ruck carrying bag. It is made to work with the ALICE frame which is also included. The TAG Carrying Bag is made from 500 weight Cordura and lined with pack cloth. This combination allows the Mountain Ruck by T.A.G. to be lightweight and still be ultra durable. The shoulder straps and kidney pad are contoured and molded to balance the load and be more comfortable. The 3 general purpose pouches work with the issued Static-Line harness and lowering lines make this carrying bag jumpable. The outside of the ruck has PALS webbing that can attach to any style MOLLE pouch. Drink tube holes are on the sides so you can drink from your ruck while wearing it. The lid of the ruck has a radio antenna port for radios with center mounted antennas. The radio pocket has been lowered slightly and made large enough to fit man pack radios. this ruck is perfect! I bought it for squadleaders course and could not be more pleased, I am currently in the process of trying to make these issued for my company while in Afghanistan. Pros: comfortable, durable, modular
Not many packs bear weight and ride as well as the old GI Ruck Sack. Not fancy but it just works. This upgraded model is nothing short of outstanding. Very well made and a big improvement over a pack that honestly didn't need improving. Highly recommended
